Family Update for 2011

So we’ve had quite a bit happen since my last post but I’ll keep to the most important ones. Most importantly, our sweet little bundle of joy and third child was born last August. Aiden Robert Schrader! He’s the sweetest little guy and his smile will melt your heart every time. I feel so blessed to have received another great boy. We’re all about the boys at our house and I’m finding that I really do like it that way. I would of course be lying on all accounts if I said that I wasn’t girl hungry but for our life right now, a boy is definitely what we needed. He’s already 5 months old and a whopping 18 lbs. following in the footsteps of his older brothers in the growth department of course. He surprised us all with his features as they are opposite from all of us. He has blonde curly hair and tons of it too. Don’t ask me where he gets it from because I would love to have curls that pretty but alas mine are just waves that I have to fight with to curl up so he’s definitely the lucky one in the family. He already needs a haircut which if you know me then you know that it’s killing me not to cut it. It’s too early and I don’t want him to lose all of those sweet curls so I’m refraining… for now :) He’s the funniest little guy that has so much determination to do everything that his brothers do but he just can’t quite figure out how to make his legs work with him so he gets beyond frustrated. But I have a feeling that it won’t be much longer before he’s mobile and tearing up the house. He just stares at Ethan and Owen and smiles from ear to ear. It’s great because it’s built in entertainment for when Mommy is getting stuff done. The boys just adore Aiden too. They love to make him smile and play peek-a-boo often.

Ethan is getting so big I can hardly believe where the time has gone. He’s attending Pre-School and just loves it. He’s learning so much and he brings it home and teaches Owen so I love that aspect too. It’s great having an older sibling to teach you the ins and outs of everything. When he’s not in school you can bet that he’s playing with his Trains. We have what seems like an endless amount of Thomas the tank engine collection of toys. The boys just love trains so it’s like the only toys we buy these days. It’s fun to watch them build their own tracks and mimic the characters while they play. I just love kid’s imaginations and the things that they say and come up with. It’s really true that you need to watch what you say around them because they really are listening even when they pretend they’re not (or in our household)choose not to respond in most cases. Ethan is more like me. He’s very assertive, focused, compassionate and a great helper around the house, especially when it comes to helping out with Aiden. Owen is more like Steven. He’s fearless, strong willed, determined and a problem solver. They’re polar opposites in many ways but at the end of the day they balance each other out and it’s a beautiful relationship they have. I love that they’re so close in age because they remind me a lot of Steven and Michael and in many ways they are like true twins. I just know that they’ll be the best of buds their whole lives.

As for Steven and me, we’re coming up on our 7 year anniversary and are in somewhat disbelief that it’s been that long. I think that for me I’m still in disbelief that I have 3 kids too… someday it will sink in I suppose :) Steven started a new job the same month Aiden was born and he’s now working for US Bank in a Management Training Program. The way it works is he starts as a Teller and then progressively moves up to each position until he’s a Branch Manager over the course of 3 years. If you ask me this is the perfect job for Steven because he’s never stuck in one place for too long so he doesn’t get bored and he would also agree. As a part of the program he’s already had the opportunity to travel to Chicago for a Bank Competition and Portland to see this region’s largest vault. He will be going back to Portland and also to Minneapolis this upcoming year for more Training opportunities so he’s excited to get to travel (Mommy not so much). It’s funny to think that we’ve both worked for the same company because I was hired on as a teller in our first year of marriage with US Bank. I like it because I can really relate to him in the work field and have an idea of what he’s talking about for once. He just starting his Banker Training and is enjoying the switch from being a Teller so overall he’s happy with the job. For myself I’m still at home each day with the boys and enjoying being a stay at home mom. My small business survived its first year and now I’m heading into my second year of operation. I’ve really been enjoying having something to do outside of taking care of the kids. When I stopped cutting hair I was surprised to find how much I missed having a job. Although I would love to have my salon set up and going again it’s just not practical with little ones in the house. Hair color really doesn’t wait for you and you can’t walk away from it like you can with my sewing projects that I do for my new business. I’ve been very blessed to be able to pursue this avenue and its nice being able to contribute to the household as well. Plus, I get to make cute girly things that I am in no need of at this point so I get my girly fix from time to time too. It’s a win/win situation so I’m happy with it. If you want to come see what I’m making these days visit my website at www.emmiesdesigns.etsy.com I always love to hear feedback so feel free to give it.

Well, that’s the majority of what’s going on with us. I’ll go ahead and attach some recent pictures of my cutie boys and again… I’ll try to post sooner than 6 months from now. But no promises! Haha… Thanks for following our family. We love you all. Until next time :)

Love, The Schrader’s

I guess this is a 6 month kind of thing...

Well even with the best of intentions it looks like this is just going to be a 6 month kind of thing for me. As much as I want to I just can't seem to get a post out any sooner then that??? Oh well... something is better than nothing I guess. So here it goes.

We have alot of new things going on in the Schrader household. Since my last post most of you have heard but for those of you who haven't Baby #3 is another Boy and we're just thrilled. We've decided on his name and it will be Aiden Robert. He's due August 28th but with my baby's always coming early we're expecting him more towards the middle of August but every delivery is different so you never know. The Pregnancy has been a good one thus far. The only concern we have is that I'm only 29 weeks along and the Ultrasound estimates that he's already 3 lbs. 4 oz. so it looks like I'm not going to have a small baby this time either. Ethan was a 1/2 an oz. shy of 9 lbs. and Owen was a whopping 10 1/2 lbs. so who knows what Aiden will be. I just pray that I can do it without having a c-section. I've been able to avoid that so far so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I really shouldn't be surprised that my baby's are so big because I am a Robertson girl after all and BIG seems to be the only way we know how to make them! I'm completely confident in my Dr. and he knows my history and keeps a good eye on me so I'm not worried at all. Big or small... as long as the baby is healthy I'm a happy girl.

After 5 long years and many late nights Steven has Graduated from BSU and our journey has come to an end... for now at least. Graduate school is always a possibility but for now we're happy to be taking a break. He has thankfully been offered a job with US Bank here in Boise for a management training program and will be starting in August. He's still trying to pursue something in the law enforcement field and government positions and would love to be apart of ICE or the FBI but hiring is just slow right now so we'll see what the future holds. If anyone knows anyone or hears anything along those lines keep him in your mind if you could. With the Economy the way that it is right now we feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to have a job lined up.

Since we know that we're staying here in Boise we decided it was time to move on so we moved into an apartment at the end of May and it's been really nice to be on our own again. For those of you who would like my new address you can email me (seschrader@gmail.com) and I'll send it to you. We really had mixed feeling about moving because we have really enjoyed being at Grandma's house and the boys especially loved it. We were there for 16 months and could never express how grateful we are to Linda and her putting up with all of the wonderful things that come with having 2 young children (that love to scream and run a muck) in the house. It's been an adjustment for the boys not to have Grandma in the house but luckily we still live close by so it's not to bad. We have alot of young families that live around us for the first time and it's really nice to have people that you can relate to. The ward is great and we couldn't be happier. The boys just love having a playground so close by and we're anxiously awaiting for a good day to go to the pool. The weather here in Idaho is all over the place so it hasn't given us many opportunities to get over there without some type of weather mishap. There hasn't been much time anyways since I'm still surrounded by oodles of boxes. This is by far the slowest it's been for me to put together a house but it's also the first time I've had to do it with 2 little ones to take care of during the process. Being in my third trimester of pregnancy doesn't help much either... but it's starting to come together. It won't be long before our house becomes a Home! I think that the best part by far about unpacking is getting all of my little baby stuff out and ready for Aiden's arrival. You just forget how tiny they are when they come out... well not so tiny for me since my kids are closer to the size of a toddler then a newborn... but it's been fun.

I've been taking a break from my little business since we moved but I'll be getting back to work in no time. I decided that since I'm not cutting hair right now I needed something else to do (as if taking care of 2 active boys wasn't enough) so I started my own home based business last November. It all started with me wanting to make something for the boys for church and quiet time play. I saw some families with these toys that were little I Spy games and I looked for them everywhere and couldn't seem to find them so I decided to make some of my own for the boys. I was getting so many compliments that I decided I'd try to sell some and they went like crazy so that's where it all started. If you want to check out my stuff you can find it on my website www.emmiesdesigns.etsy.com It's in vacation mode right now so you can go to the items sold and see some of the products. Once I get back to work though you'll be able to see everything. I'm hoping to start up again in a week or two.

Ethan finished out his first year of preschool and is growing in leaps and bounds. I couldn't be more proud of him. He loves to learn and explore new things and it's amazing to see the little gears turning in his brain when he's learning. He's brought all of his knowledge home to Owen and he too is talking up a storm. They love to sing their ABC's and count their 123's. This age is such a fun stage and I just love to see their personalities develop. Being a Mom is great! It's the hardest yet most rewarding thing I think I will ever do. When you see your children grow into such great kids it makes you forget about all of the hard times you've had along the way. Maybe not all... but most!

Well, that's about all that's been going on with us... I'm not going to promise anything as to when I'll be posting again because I've learned my lesson... so until next time.

Love to you all...
Steven, Emmie, Ethan, Owen & soon to be Aiden

Starting out strong... 2010!

Well, this is not going to be a typical novel that I post every 6 or so months. Short, sweet and to the point is what I’m aiming for.

There has not been a ton of changes in our lives this past year. Since moving from our home in Meridian we’ve been living in Eagle with Linda (Mom) and it’s been great! The boys just love hanging out with Grandma every day and Mommy loves having some adult interaction during the day. It’s the best. We weren’t planning on staying here as long as we have. It’s been a year this month but after reviewing our school plans we realized that if we pushed a little harder and doubled up on credits, Steven could graduate in May and that’s just what we did. So we’re still in Limbo but happily accept it and we’re very much looking forward to graduation this year. Steven continues to work 2 part time jobs, full time school and full time Daddy/Husband. I don’t know where he finds the strength but he always rises to the occasion in all that he does and never ceases to amaze me. It will be weird when graduation does come around because we’ll have so much time we won’t know what to do with ourselves? I’m sure we’ll fill the time just fine once it comes along. :)

Ethan has been attending preschool and just loves it. He gets to ride the school bus each morning and it’s his favorite part of the day. He’ll be turning 4 in June and I’m in disbelief that he’s that old already. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. He’s talking so much now that it’s rare to get any quiet time but I love it. His personality is so cute and it’s great to see it develop each day. Right now his favorite word is ‘actually’ and he’s so sassy when he says it. And to add to the sassy, he loves to sing his favorite songs morning and night. We fall asleep and awake to his serenades. I’m continually laughing throughout the day and if it’s not with Ethan then it’s with Owen. He’s the funniest little guy. It’s amazing to me how much he’s talking. Such a stark difference from when Ethan was that age. He too has such a great personality. He adores his big brother and loves to play with him, as well as doing everything he does. Ethan’s a good sport about it too. The cutest thing is to listen and watch them talk to each other. They are just the sweetest little guys and I couldn’t be happier with what great boys they’re growing up to be.

For me, life has been busy, busy, busy… I’ve taken on a new adventure and I’ve started my own at home business. Since I stopped cutting hair I’ve been needing something to do so I don’t get so stir crazy and I just love to do any kind of craft so I thought why don’t I make something of this. I’m making a variety of baby products and one in particular that has been really popular. It’s called an ‘I spy bag’. It’s something I kept seeing other families use in church and couldn’t seem to find in the stores so I took it upon myself to make my own for the boys and they turned out to be such a hit. I was getting so much attention from them that I decided to start making and selling them. If you want to check out my stuff and see what has been occupying my time you can check it out on my website.

www.emmiesdesigns.etsy.com

Besides for being busy with my kids and my new growing business I’ve been busy trying not to be so sick all of the time or maybe I should say nauseous… :)

Well if you didn’t catch that subtle hint then I’ll come right out and say it…

I’M PREGNANT!!!

We’re expecting #3 and we couldn’t be more excited. The due date is August 28 so we’ve got a ways to go but with my life time flies and I know that it will be here in no time at all. It’s so cute because the boys are already so interested about the baby in mommy’s belly. They give baby lovies everyday and it’s so fun to share that with them. Ethan and Owen were only 21 months apart and so we didn’t really get all of that excitement from Ethan when we were expecting Owen. And this time around Ethan gets it and Owen feeds off of his excitement so it’s been really fun. Only 10 weeks in and we’re already so excited.

Well, I said that I wasn’t going to do it but I did. Another novel has been published. I just can’t help it I guess. I think that even if I did post more frequently it would still be a novel because I just don’t know how to do it any other way. Oh well. I hope that you enjoyed catching up with our family and thanks for taking the time to do so.

If you have a little bit more time in your day then go check out my website (www.emmiesdesigns.etsy.com) and if you can give me some feedback on what you think (positive or negative) I’d love to hear it. Friends and family know best and aren’t afraid to say it so it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. We love you all and love to hear from you so feel free to leave comments as well. Have a great day.

Love,

Steven, Emmie, Ethan, Owen (& Baby #3) :)

New Year's Resolution!!!

The title says it all. I'm making a new years resolution to stay in touch more with the world and those I care about and so this is my new start. No more excuses of being to busy or that I don't have any time. I'm making time to do it because it's to important. I like to know what's going on with everyone and I'm figuring that you also would like to know what's going on with me. It's to late tonight to post any pictures or expand upon any details... I just wanted to hold myself accountable and put this message out there so that I'll follow through with it. Happy New Year Everyone!!! Love to you all.

Brace Yourself... This one's a Doozie!

Seeing as how the last pictures I posted were from Christmas I have a lot to catch up on. Where in the world do I begin? For starters… we did sell our home miraculously and we signed the papers after only 42 days on the market! We were truly blessed to have sold so quickly and I almost didn’t have enough time to pack everything because of it… But we made it. And I just have to say… For all those who think that I’m too much of a neat freak and that I’m obsessed with keeping things in order… for once it paid off to be a perfectionist and to have everything spotless. Let me tell you though it wasn’t an easy task to keep the house up so that we could show it at a moment’s notice but I’m glad that we did (97% of the time at least… nobody’s perfect). I know that this helped tremendously in selling our home so quickly. So, you’re probably wondering where we moved to? We are living with our Wonderful Mom (Linda) who so graciously opened her home to us and we are ever so grateful for her doing so. Her home is about 10 miles away from where we lived before so that makes it nice since there wasn’t much to adapt to location wise at least. The boys love that they get to see Grandma every day and she’s been a great help to us. We’re not sure what our next move will be at this time. We’re in what you might call “Limbo” right now. Steven will be graduating this upcoming May and we’re so happy that we’ve made it this far. The light is getting brighter and brighter each day and we’re looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives. In addition to attending school full time, Steven is still working with Ted Mason Signature Homes but has gone from full time to part time and so he is also working part time with his Cousin Eric here in the area. He owns an awesome Vintage Clothing Store “Junk Yard Jeans” and sells items at auction all over the world. So it keeps Steven busy and we’re grateful to Eric for the extra help. I’m still at home with the boys during the day and I love it. Every so often I do a haircut or two but with the boys into everything and our busy schedules it just became too difficult to keep up with my clients so I slowly downsized and eventually stopped. It worked out for the best though because when we moved I had to pack up all of my salon equipment and there’s really no place to set up here where we are now. So for the time being I’m out of business but as soon as we are done having kids and they’re all in school full time I’ll start up again. That was always the plan but I must say I do miss it from time to time. Something exciting for Steven and me is we celebrated our 5 year Anniversary this last June. It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re having fun. I like to think about when we first started dating 8 years ago and see how far we’ve come. Dating, then the Mission for 2 LONG years, then the short engagement, then moving to Idaho and getting married, then the kids and now here we are. I’m so happy for the wonderful life that we’ve built together and I’m so grateful for my loving husband and all that he does for me and our adorable boys. We are truly blessed to have such a great family and I couldn’t possibly be any happier.

Here’s a look into our family life. This summer has been really nice because Ethan started going to the summer school program Tues.-Thur. from 8:30-12:30 and so I’ve been able to get a lot done with only one little rascal to chase around and look after. And running errands is a breeze. I love it. Ethan will be attending school in the fall as well for his first official year of pre-school. We’re really excited because we’ve seen such a dramatic difference in his speech and language skills just from the small amount of schooling that he’s had thus far. His favorite thing about school by far is riding on the school bus. I think that it was much harder on me the first day that he got on it. I was all sad and he couldn’t wait to get rid of me. I don’t think that he even missed me the whole day. I guess I should get used to it because I hear that it only gets worse the older they get.

This is Ethan waiting for the school bus that first day. He was so excited.

He had his 3rd Birthday in June and I can’t believe that he’s so old.

He has really started to have such a funny personality. He’s very observant and can remember just about everything. If we go somewhere on the other side of town and then return a month or so later he’ll remind you of when we went there before and why we were there, especially when we pass the ice cream store. That’s his favorite place and he always has to ask if we can stop even when he’s sure there’s a no at the other end of that question. As I said before he’s been getting much better in his speech and language skills. He had been taking Speech Therapy through the Infant Toddler Program for early education for about 8 months before his 3rd Birthday. In the state of Idaho when they reach the age or 3 they are moved into the school system and since his Birthday fell in June that’s why he was able to attend summer school so that he didn’t have to wait until the fall. This is why he is starting pre-school a year early. I remember that we were so happy with his progress when he started his Speech Therapy and what a difference we were seeing. But there’s something about the school program that just get’s them going. He’s been doing great and the biggest thing is that other’s (besides for people who are around him often) can somewhat understand what he’s saying now. He’s always had a hard time with articulating his words so it comes out slurred. As his Mom, I understand most of what he says but it’s hard for others I guess. This whole process has been really fun for him and we couldn’t be more proud.

We’ve jump started his Potty Training and we have our good days and our bad days. He was doing so well until he realized that going potty was taking time out of the things he was doing throughout the day. Then it wasn’t so much fun anymore. So if anyone has any good suggestions… I’m all ears!

Owen had his 1st Birthday in March and my little baby is now officially a toddler.

We had a slow start with him wanting to dig into his cake, but once he figured out what it was he of course dove right in.

He’s the cutest little thing. He adores Ethan and wants to do everything that he does. He’s his ‘mini me’ and besides for the height difference they look almost identical. I can’t tell you how many times I get asked how old my Twin boys are??? It’s funny to see their reaction when I tell them that they’re 21 months apart. But if you really look at them you can obviously tell that there’s a big gap in age. Owen pretty much skipped walking and went straight to running overnight. He’s hard to keep up with and definitely keeps me on my toes. He’s the adventurous one in our family. If he hasn’t tried it yet then you better believe that he’s waiting for the right time to do it. Usually when I’m not looking or leave the room momentarily. He’s had a few bumps and bruises along the way but he just jumps right back up and is on to the next thing in no time.

He’s been chattering like crazy these days. I’m amazed at how much he talks and the things that he picks up. I think that he’s going to be a lot like Ethan as he gets older just a bit wilder and not as many boundaries. I love to see him grow and learn new things each day. One thing that he’s into right now is screaming at the top of his lungs and it is just ear piercing. It’s hard because when he starts doing it then Ethan has to join in and it’s time for the ear plugs. Poor Linda didn’t know what she was getting into when she agreed to have us move in. I just keep the medicine cabinet stocked with Tylenol just in case. They’re both so cute though. As challenging as kids can be from time to time, they are more than worth it. I can’t complain… life is good, no great!!!

One of the fun things that we did this year is, we had the opportunity to go back to Washington DC for our brother Christian’s wedding in March and it was a first for our family. Here's Mommy and the boys on the Airplane.

We had a blast downtown walking to all of the sites they have there. What a workout. I think that I lost about 5 lbs. by the time we got home (no complaints here). With having the kids it was hard to do too much all at once but we still had a great time.

I just love to see all of the history that our country has and to be right in the middle of a large portion of it was a neat experience. The boys loved going to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Ethan just loves airplanes and Owen was just starting to get into them at the time. Here's Ethan with Daddy in front of the BIG airplane. You can see by the expression on his face just how excited he was.

I really enjoyed seeing the Washington Monument up close and personal. Seeing it in a picture or on TV does it absolutely no justice. It seemed like it went up for days and days. I couldn’t believe how tall it was. When we walked right up to it and looked way up to the top I almost felt like I was going to fall over because I had to tilt my head so far back. What an amazing piece of architecture. It just amazes me what man can create.

Steven’s favorite site was the WWII Memorial. The massive size and beautiful craftsmanship was a great tribute for the men who died for our country.

Although it was great to be with so much family and to have the kids in tow, it really would be nice to have about a week with just you and your spouse to go around and see all that you want to. It’s an amazing city to be in and we hope to make it back sometime in the future to do just that.

Other then this trip we’ve pretty much stayed close to home this year. With Steven having such a busy schedule with work and school it’s hard to find much time in between to travel. We’ve had a lot of fun here in Boise though. We finally had a chance to visit our local Zoo and I admit that it was nothing compared to the San Diego Zoo that both Steven and I grew up with but let’s face it… We were spoiled. But for Boise it’s a great Zoo. The boys loved seeing all of the different kinds of animals they hadn’t seen before (not in person at least). Ethan loved looking up at the Giraffes and was amazed at how tall they were and Owen couldn’t stop laughing at the baby chimpanzees jumping all over the place and swinging from the branches. It was really cute to see their reactions. Our favorite story about our trip there is when we went to go see the Lions. The area that they were in was a good size and we could only see two female lions and no males so we were bummed but as we were turning the corner to leave the exhibit we noticed the male on the very outskirts lying down. So we stopped to show the boys and as we did the lion stood up, turned around and sprayed something at us like a skunk would. Luckily we were far enough away that we didn’t get any of it on us but it was the funniest thing. We couldn’t tell if he was trying to mark his territory or to claim me for another female to join his domain. For the most part you had to be there to get the full effect but at the time it was hilarious.

Other then checking out all of the fun sites here in town we’ve just been playing in our great backyard. Linda has done a lot with her yard over the years and it’s just beautiful. The kids love to run in the sprinklers and play in their water table.

This summer has been so hot so I don’t blame them for wanting to play in the water. We’ve been lingering in the hundreds for quite some time now so I’m definitely ready for Fall to come around. We also have this great park right across the street with a water play area as well. We’ve been enjoying being in this new location. There’s so much fun stuff around us.

We’ve been enjoying our new ward too. Steven and I actually were called to serve in the Nursery for the first time and were a little nervous at first with some of the negative things you hear about being stuck in there but we’ve just loved it. Ethan is still in there with us and Owen’s been in heaven since he got to go in early. It’s funny because there’s another couple that’s serving with us and they have twin boys that are just a little older then Owen. So on any given Sunday 60% of the class consists of Nursery workers and our kids. The only down fall of being called into the nursery is that we didn’t really get a chance to meet anyone since we were called in so quickly. That makes it a little difficult to mingle with any of the adults but we’re still happy to be with all of the kids in the ward. Besides it’s kind of nice to go and do some of the girlie things with the girls in the class. It’s all boy stuff here at home so I enjoy having that time to get away and play with dolls and such. Don’t get me wrong… I’m all about the boy stuff and love to play with my little men but it’s nice to have a change of pace from time to time.

For those of you who made it to the end of this novel… I thank you for taking a minute or two out of your schedule to check up on my wonderful family. After writing this beast of a blog I realize that it would be much easier for me and everyone who likes to stay awake while reading if I write more often. So I will try not to let the next post be this year’s Christmas… but no guarantees! Love to you all and happy blogging.

New Post Coming Soon!!!

Alright, Alright... I know that I've been terrible at keeping this blog up but life gets busy and even more so when you have 2 toddlers. So I appoligize for the slacking on my part. I'm slowly getting my feet on the ground this year. I know that it's already July and past the half way mark but sometimes it takes a while for things to settle down and fall into place. Better late then never. So I'm overhauling my blog and writing a post in response to the many requests that have been pouring in and it will be coming soon... as well as current pictures!

Christmas Day @ The Schrader Home

Well, the holidays have come and gone and the new year has arrived. I still have a hard time believing that it's 2009. I remember thinking that it was the greatest when I was counting down the ball for 2000. How time flys when your having fun. Speaking of fun... Christmas this year was wonderful in the Schrader household and I thought that some of you might want to see how everything went so here are a few pictures to browse through...

Ethan, as most of you know just loves trains. He's absolutely crazy about anything to do with trains... especially if their blue and named Thomas! This year Grandma Linda spoiled our family with a special train to go around our tree. We played with it for a couple of weeks before Christmas came because we received it when Grandma came for Thanksgiving. So you would think that the shock factor would have faded. Oh no... He was just as excited to see it Christmas morning as any other day (of course Mommy put it away for a couple of days before the big day came). It was hard to get him to open any presents because all he wanted to do was play with his beloved train. Eventually the excitement died down and he got into the presents...

It's so hard to get good pictures with both of them smiling at the same time and I found that it's even harder to do it Christmas morning.

Ethan is so lovie and his favorite thing to do is give his brother lovies. It's just the cutest thing ever!!!

This was Owen's first Christmas and he was so cute opening his presents. All he really wanted to do was put them in his mouth and suck on them. Of course that's all he wants to do with everything at this age. He's so cute.

This Christmas was really fun for Ethan because he's old enough now that he got what was going on with all of the festivities and he was way more into it this year.

I can't believe how big my little baby Owen is getting. And Ethan too. Man... they're gonna be heart breakers someday.

This year was so wonderful and I'm happy that you could share a part of it with us. I hope that you had a Great Holiday Season this year and a very Happy New Year to you all.

With Much Love,

The Schrader Family
